About Me

Charlotte Flowers Weston is a native of Trenton New Jersey. She began her career in television as a reporter/writer/editor for several major news outlets, throughout the east and west coast. Although her passion for writing began at an early age, it was her experience while working on the set of the 1995 Warner Brothers film, Rosewood, directed by Writer Producer John Singleton that sparked Charlotte’s desire to develop her skills in screenwriting. 

Charlotte has written and published multiple news articles on her website: http://www.charlottesnewsbuzz.com/cnewsbuzz She has also completed several screenplays, some of which have received notable reviews, and made finalist in competitions. Charlotte has also worked as a Radio Personality and performed on stage in theatrical plays. She earned her first writing credit while working with J.A.C.E. Films as a writer for the Web TV Series; Western Heights, directed and produced by Joey Lamar Ashley, while attending Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. Charlotte received her B.F.A. in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University in 2014 and her M. A. in New Media Journalism from Full Sail University in 2016. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Arkansas; Fayetteville expected to graduate with her degree in Criminal Justice in May 2024.

Charlotte has received several honors and awards for her achievements, her most recent one being the Course Director’s Award for Mastery in Personal Development and Leadership from Full Sail University. Charlotte has a deep passion for storytelling and writing. She recently became a member of SRCinemaproductions with CEO Willie McKnight to produce several projects.
